Here is an account of comparison between two similar stories that happened one in 2004 in BETH ISRAEL medical center (US) and one in 2011 Kurnool Government Medical Center.

Common point in both the places was "DEATH DUE TO NEGLIGENCE OWING TO UNDERSTAFFING".

The article below says that the parents of the lost child in US ,got an award of 7 million USD and circle back to the Kurnool incident which happened over the weekend ; UNFORTUNATELY though I am 100% sure , the culprits are going to be let free and they will be untouched .The culprits , who were supposed to be taking care of premature babies at the medical center were actually practicing in their own private hospitals and medical centers ,owing to which 10 babies died.

"NEGILIGENCE" that could have many underlying issues. (Views expressed here are my personal views and none of the organizations that I am serving are responsible for these views).

1) Underpaid staff.

2) Improper working conditions.

3) Improper machinery and non-operational critical life saving systems. (NON - OPERATIONAL).

4) No mechanism to monitor duty roster and sufficient penalty for irregularity.

5) Overall failed GOVT. Machinery.

In my opinion while the doctors and keepers of hospital ( by law) are responsible , but that is not all and total responsibility cannot be accredited to them only. POLICY MAKERS and POLICY GOVERNERS are equally responsible and own a larger portion of credit to these deaths.

A possible solution is privatization of these hospitals ,but massive misuse of funds allocated for any such purpose raises questions on effectiveness of such a policy.

It again boils down to corruption and how much of allocated money is reaching the allottees (The Citizens) ,under any policy.

HEALTH like COUNTRY's DEFENCE MECHANISM should definitely be treated with the discipline with which we treat our ARMED FORCES. Internal Rules / Internal Penalty and Reward Systems and 100% control to the system to take important calls.

Beth Israel to pay millions, foundnegligent in baby's death

The Suffolk Superior Court found a physician and nurse at Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center--typically known for its renowned care--guilty of negligence in the death of a premature baby, reports the Salem News. The Boston Globe reports the parents are awarded $7 million, although the Boston Herald reports the Beth Israel is to pay the parents $11.4 million, which would be Massachusetts' largest jury award this year.
In 2004, parents Danielle and John Bellerose gave birth to twins. One of the babies, Katherine, died of necrotizing enterocolitis, a bowel infection that affects primarily premature babies.

The mother, Danielle Bellerose (a nurse) and her husband sued the hospital, claiming that the weekend staff didn't recognize the symptoms and reacted too late, partly attributed to understaffing.
"For me, it's not about the money. It's about accountability, responsibility and change," said Danielle Bellerose in the Salem News article. "... It's a huge relief for us that she didn't die for nothing. At least now, she can save other babies' lives by making doctors pay more attention and focus on potential problems."

TALK FOR INDIA Campaign - RESULTS ,IDEA CELLULAR

On the first anniversary of 26/11 ,Idea Cellular had come-up with a campaign of "Talk for India" ,which received widespread accolades and equal amount of criticism ,that Idea is trying to encash such a cruel and sad moment.

I beg to differ with all those who had criticized this IDEA.

Well , 2.5 Crores INR has been already been handed over to Home Minister Mr. Chidambaram in January. And IDEA decided not to advertise this.

I am proud to talk about IDEA here ( although i use a vodafone connection) ,that they have thought about it and have lead by example in this case.

The money collected in the campaign was only 1.25 crores and they added the rest of the money to 2.5 crores.

Also , When i contacted a friend of mine ,whose brother heads marketing at IDEA for knowing these details.

Having written about the Agrarian Economy ,which was the primary culprit ,i write this post inspired by an anonymous comment to my previous post on how the small and common man is getting effected by the whole deal.

Again one of the firsts in India , one of the opposition party leaders who was nowhere when the former CM was alive and had almost lost the telangana region to Congress ;started a Fast.A fast unto death ,which turned out to be a joke when he broke it on his own(All over the TV) and later gave it a flavor of pressure.On the fear that he might get killed by the TRUE agitators.
This time he got serious and tried a stunt like the GREAT POTTI SRIRAMULU ,who got us all the Andhra State and later Telugu speaking Telangana also merged into it by a government decision.

thanks to an anonymous comment on my blog ,i learned a new thing.
(Citing wikipedia : On 1 October 1953, the state of Andhra was established with Kurnool as capital carving it out from Madras State. However, the Telugu speaking Telangana was part of Hyderabad state until 1956. On November 1, 1956, Telangana was merged with Andhra and as a result Andhra Pradesh was formed with Hyderabad as its capital, against the recommendation of States Reorganization Commission (SRC). Kerala and Karnataka states were formed the same day in 1956, followed by Gujarat and Maharashtra in 1960. The formation of linguistic states is the single most important event in the history of South Indian languages, as it provided an opportunity for these languages to develop independently, each of them having a state to support.)

And the seriousness of his FAST UNTO DEATH was supported by Intravenous fluids supposed to keep him alive without a direct feed from mouth.

And to this great drama of the decade and some VIOLENT AGITATION , our renowned Home Ministry gives a statement that TELANGANA WILL BE GIVEN.
That's all from there started the trouble. Now you have raised hope on a phenomenon ,that is practically devastating for the State of TELANGANA in case it is formed.
There is absolutely no doubt ,it will become another JHARKHAND.

I borrow my anonymous friends statement here "Every person in Telangana is now expecting a government job ,from the milkman to the barber to the carpenter "

What have we left the common man with this confusion ?
Suicides
Ruined Education of youngsters from Telangana and Youngsters who are not from Telangana.
People not wanting to take up jobs in Hyderabad
Lost Business for Telangana
Bullishness on retail business going to Dogs (Every week therez a bandh)
Few Goons writing TG on every vehicle spoiling car paints
and every argument on road potentially leading to Andhra Telangana fight.

What do we gain out this ????? Nothing ...

OK who is gaining what out of this...

Let us put a perspective to it ?

Is it REAL ESTATE ?
Are they trying to protect the real estate they have invested in , the Andhra Guys...
and the Telangana guys , Of course for a separate state ,which will take 10 years to be independent of it's own and start growing ?

I leave you all with a question ...

Simple Economics...

Whether it's Telanagana minus Hyderabad or Telangana with Hyderabad.
Who gains out of a separate state ?

I have been thinking about this for quite sometime.

Who is responsible for the current state of Telangana(Andhra Pradesh)

Why did we ignore so many agitations and movements earlier ?
We had some great leaders including Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy ,who could have turned around this region but for his unfortunate accidental death.

What was it that suppressed the Telangana movement that started in his regime ?
The people friendly policies ,which were being implemented with great ease and transparency across Andhra Pradesh , including the remotest of the locations in Telangana.

Godavari River
Godavari River has been the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh from ages and the credit for channelizing the resource goes to General Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton(15 May 1803 Oxford – 25 July 1899 Dorking)

Cotton was promoted to the rank of "Captain" in the year 1828 and was in charge of Investigation for Cauveri Scheme. The Cauveri Anicut( dam) was successful and paved the way for great projects on Godavari and Krishna Rivers. In the year 1844 Cotton recommended the construction of "Anicut( dam )" with Channels, Embankments, and roads of Godavari Delta, prepared plans for Visakhapatnam port. In the Year 1847 the work on Godavari Anicut was started.
After completing the Godavari Anicut Cotton shifted his attention to the construction of Aqueduct on Krishna River. The project was sanctioned in the year 1851 and completed by 1855. After completing the Krishna and Godavari Anicuts, Cotton envisaged of storages of Krishna and Godavari rivers.

Apart from the reasons ,why Sir Cotton did not focus on the Telangana region , the Nizams have also been blamed sufficiently for not having the foresight on the need for a good irrigation system.

One of the possible reasons for Sir Cotton to consider the Andhra Region to use the waters ,was availability of the material like Teak , Lime and others that could be used for construction of these barrages and dams.

The infrastructure deficit in Telangana vis-à-vis the coastal region could also be a major reason.

Going by that thought , I want to leave you with one important question . Is it the AGRARIAN ECONOMY ,that is leaving Telangana issue high and dry.

Could we have done more to use the resources from Andhra to bring up Telangana.

Can Telangana survive on it's own ? or will it become another Jharkhand ?

A Common Man's feeling and frustration about Satyam and EMRI

There has been lot of rumours about EMRI /Satyam relationship and what could happen to EMRI due to the Satyam fiasco.

I have to add one very important point here.

We at EMRI are proud of what we are doing day-in and day-out....

Attached is a chat transcript by one of my friends and ex-collagues ,WHO HAD APPLIED FOR A JOB in EMRI and could not get through and WHO IS ALSO AN EX-SATYAMITE ,more that 2 years before....when he enjoyed the FAT PACKAGE at SATYAM.

After going thru this argument session on GTALK....i am now assured that lot us usually go by emotions ,like this friend of mine and do not even consider the fact that Institution is different from a PERSON....whoever it is....

Why is Satyam being bailed out ? Why are new board of directors appointed ?

For the same reason as mentioned above....Insitution is different from a person.

Anniversary Ride '2008 - THUMPERS ROCK.

It's been 5 months since I have come back from Bombay and ,I had done no LKG. Although I rode to Tadvai with Wanderers,It was the nostalgia which won my mind's attention and interest.Adding to it was DEEPAK BHAT , an awesome rider WHOSE IDEA IT WAS TO RIDE to PANCHGANI.

I will also make a special mention of Major Sanjeev Naidu(Sena medal awardee and served in Kashmir for more than 5 years) and his better half Prerna (now officially LKG rider and the bravest of us all three).

This was my first LKG without my wifey ROCKER ,whom I was badly missing and she was equally missing the ride due to some personal reasons.

Day 1 - 100kms.
I was in Tirupati with my family for the ceremony of Sam ,my sister's Son from where I took a flight back at 3:45p.m to start riding at 9p.m to Zaheerabad,We reached and parked ourselves in an inspection bungalow at 11p.m.

Where I learnt the first lesson of the ride :)
Daru buri cheez hai...
We went out in search of Daru and had a FLAT TYRE....if you were thinking ,i would mean something else....HA HA HA ...the party still went on.

We decided to wake up at 6 and start early for the 580 kms ride ahead ,but ended up getting late THUMPER Style.
Sanjeev and me fixed the tyre....I must thank AMIT DESHMUKH bhai for teaching me ,how to open the rear tyre.

Our first halt was at VITTALs a veg restaurant ,some 120kms away and we rode non-stop to hae breakfast there around 11:30A.M and I ATE LIKE I AM NOT GOING TO EAT THE WHOLE DAY,.....i was proven right as we had a late snack break at MOHOL after crossing SOLAPUR....

The ride was awesome and we took some nice pictures at NALDURG fort.
And I must confess , MAJOR SANJEEV was riding like a TRUE PROFESSIONAL and ABSOLUTELY FINE.....KUDOS....

After taking a break at MOHOL we started riding towards PANDHARPUR ,our next halt and we learnt our NEXT LESSON.

BEWARE OF DOGS - EVEN ON THE ROAD.
Just about crossing the NAtional Highway to State highway ,while the narrow roads were about to crossover into the farms ,deepak was leading and we saw his bike slide as he took the support of the crashguards and tactfully manovered the bike away from him and he ROLLED Over the road atleast 5 times.The bike slid 5 metres and deepak rolled 4 metres...

Scared the shit out of us...The first thing we did is to make deepak stand and ask few questions to ensure he is sound and safe ,and deepak stood up saying i am fine....We immediately picked the bike up and parked it aside.And first things first...covered the OIL and PETROL on the road with MUD before somebody else got victimised to it.

After all this ...we realized it was a DOG that caused all this and the dog was seriously injured and lying on the road...unconcious and the pulse beating like TAPPET ROADS at 80kmph...it was about to die.

I picked up deepak's bike for a small ride and realized it was ready to go....That's it ....WE RESUMED OUR RIDE.

I remember GURI PRAJI telling on my first ride , how important it is to be FULLY COVERED....TRUST ME ....DEEPAK had just a small negligible scratch. Thank GOD and as deepak claims it was VITTAL who saved his life as he was singing VITTAL's song before the accident while riding....Strange coincidence.

We all thanked our gods and reached Pandharpur for a small halt and re-started towards SATARA ,just to realize that we had miscalculated the route and actually the route was 80kms more than planned.

Being on the ride for the first time ,Prerna was fatigued and was running slight temperature and she BRAVELY SAT as a pillion till we reached destination.

Deepak was still leading the ride..

Girthe PAdthe ,Uththe Baithte we reached SATARA and all this while motivating Prerna for some more distance every time we stopped and she never said NO....

And once we reached SATARA....there were CRACKERs all over the sky ,congratulating us to have made it closer to the venue.

From there all of us ran FULL THROTTLE around 100-110 kmph to MAI and the next 35 kms of GHAT ROADS were the best part of the day and like Major Sanjeev mentions...."The more difficult it gets on ghats more you start enjoying" - It was chilling cold on the ghats and we were feeling refreshed with the dropping temperatures.

And around 11P.M we reach the venue with GREAT LOOK ON OUR FACES....WE HAVE ACHIEVED THE LKG.

And we were recieved with great WARMTH.

Special thanks to Anup takle and gang who kept on singing till early morning hours ,while we were trying to sleep in the tent.
It just felt right and we were telling each other - This is one of the moments we rode 600 kms for.

We partied till 2a.m before crashing in our tents .

HERE IS WHERE WE LEARNED THE THIRD LESSON - "Journey is as important as destination".

Day 2 - TABLE TOP AND RIDE TO SOLAPUR. 280kms...

We took some nice pics after breakfast on day2 on table top ,had mouthfuls of STRAWBERRY ICECREAM and started riding at 1:30 p.m towards Solapur....after having a lousy lunch at a dhaba where the leftovers were fed to a dog in the same plate as we ate....and getting surprised of the plates we eat in usually in dhabas....started off to PAndharpur.We spotted DIESEL 350cc ,modified to handle white washing....and i took a ride on it.....while deepak was explaining us the folk dance of maharashtra ....we enjoyed every moment in the heart of maharashtra and halted at SOLAPUR for a refreshing night halt.

Day 3 - Solapur - hyderabad 300kms....

We start our day very late at 11a.m and decide to have breakfast at VITTALs which again was miscaluclated at 40kms and we ended up riding for 120kms to border of maharashtra just before UMERGA and have lunch and decide to SLEEP at the DHABA for an hour .After having a sumptuous lunch ,when i was just about trying to close my eyes...SAnjeev comes and tells me that MY TYRE is FLAT again.

Lesson 4 : Always carry a spare RUBBER TUBE....by now i was perfect in changing tyres and it was a half an hour job ,this time deepak helped me get it fixed.

And after another four -five hours of refreshing ride WE END OUR GLORIOUS ANNIVERSARY RIDE in STYLE ....

Last Night I was lucky I saw this video played on HBO on Al Gore's presentation on the Global Warming and it's effects.

Like Winston Churchill said - "The era of procrastination, of half-measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays, is coming to its close. In its place we are entering a period pf consequences."

It has been aptly named "An Inconvenient Truth" and so does it reveal the mindblowing statistics and super- extensive research that has been done in measuring CO2 levels on earth and its effects on global warming.

The results stun you and you could lose sleep over it , if one cares for where he lives.

The Stunnings photos of depleting ice levels on earth (mount kilimanjaro , himalayas ,Alps , Greenland).

A Simple example of the reasons of last ICE AGE due to the melting of ICE BELT on North America and stopping the CRUCIAL Heat Cold conveyer belt, can scare you and terrify you worse than the worst horror films that you might have seen.

And how we are exactly close to the same things happening again due to the melting Greenland ICE BELT, which is again close to conveyer belt of mother earth's climate control.

Auranagabad - First Day 350kms
Lonar -Second Day - 230 kms
Mumbai -third day - 580 kms

This was the plan in mind when we started off from our house on the morning of 21st march 2008 for our (me ,wifey - to be soon named Tappet and Rocker)first ever long ride on the Bullet (hereafter BULL).

We started at 5:30 on the Panvel highway and just after crossing highway toll office ,we found few people on Bullets waiting and the glorious inddiethumpers flag on the same.

Daaku was on the bike and was asking us,if we knew the way to Panvel Duttwada ,where we were all to assemble.

Finally after half an hour all of us assembled at Duttwada Panvel - I ripped my bike in the early morning at speeds of 80 with fellow thumpers.

After check up by Andy ,checking fuel , oil and other necessities we all started with a flagship sound of five honks - p p ppp,which later on became so very well associated with our lives

We had just crossed the panvel outskirts and reached the ghats and on the ghats my bike refused to go on and stopped at a very awkward turn and din't start , only Daku was with me and he had to call back Billoo for help who were the tail riders.

Billoo quickly offered helped and picked up Sirisha bcoz my bike was not offering power to take us both up on ghats and i Rode single till RK's dhaba on he highway.

We stopped at the dhaba to allow my engine to cool down as ,there was smoke coming from it.

I offered Billoo to back-off and go back home - but Billoo said one thing that changed the way i would live my life for those three days ,probably rest of my life- you are our problem ,don't worry we 'll go together and comeback together.

We started off from RK towards Charkand only to see my bike refusing to start some 17kms away from Charkand.Billo quickly opened his toolkit and tried everything including cleaning the CARB . JET and THE SPARK PLUG,but the problem was somewhere else it was in the tappet ,which we realized when the mechanic from Charkand came to help us....He was a magician...he came did his ritual of praying and touched the bike.It looked like it wud start and it indeed did :),I was told not to ride above 70 for next 80kms and then take a 15 minute rest.

we started from there and the next destination was the Indraprastha Dabha where Chinky and another fellow thumper would be waiting for us...The bike jost rode fine without any problems and we all decided to stop at a Dabha for some tea and getting fresh.

Our next stop was the Indraprastha hotel which we reached by 3:30 p.m and our hopes of reaching Aurangabad by 3p.m so as to go to Ellora were wasted in vain.We all decide to spend time in the hotel and move around Aurangabad that day.

My bike again refused to start and everybody tried to make it start again in vain , and we had to call another mechanic to loosen the tappet ,and that was it I was renamed TAPPET by the Thumpers and I proudly accepted it.
If it was not for my tappet ,my bonding in the group would have been very normal ....but i bonded very well ,only due to the tappet.

We then safely reached the Aurangabad tourist house and decided to call a mechanic ,the fucker was drunk and said that my engine had seized -> but Billoo sensed sthg wrong and told him that we would call him if we required him.
NExt day morning Guri Praji...saw the bike and ask me to start the bike ,the bike start in one kick in the morning and he said that there is no problem with the bike ,just change the oil and start..and offered me to pray to Siddhivinayak , a locket in his neck ....The bike stopped only once after that and then we reached mumbai without anymore stops.

Our next destination was LONAR ,the third largest crater on the planet earth ,1.8 kms in diameter.

on the way we stopped over at a dhaba and had some nice tandoori stuff.....The dhaba had distances to various places on the menu instead of eatable items.

We reached Lonar by 5p.m - although the distance was less ,there were few problems on the ride , one of our fellow thumpers had crashed and broke his hand and he had to be safely sent back to Mumbai.Also we stopped over at lots of places just for enjoying the nature....
It rained heavily at Lonar and it was a picturesque view.Wanderers from Hyderabad ,Wanderlusts from Nagpur and Highway Nawabs from Hyderabad had joined us at Lonar...

WE had a good session in the night and it became a mini Rider Mania - we called it the Gadha mania.And it was the end of a beautifully spent three days before the final IRON BUTT RIDE From LONAR to MUMBAI 590 kms - LOHE KI GAAND as it was called in Hindi. by Guri Praji -> He revealed the name to us after we all met at Kalyan on the way back before dispersing back to our homes.

A Dirty Cricket Game

A day of dirt and shit flying and hitting the roof in the field of cricket.Some obvious mistakes by umpires and that too of the calibre of Steve Bucknor.
And how can an umpire ask the fielder whether the batsman was out ? The basic premise and essence of being an umpire being lost. ALthough I don't follow cricket well , i thought i should make this point because it hurts to see ,such a bad representation by aussies in the consecutive 16th test win and a wasted one in the history of cricket.

Clearly Australia has lost all their respect in my mind ,and i will cherish every moment of India winning against them nowon.......

Rada Saheb Gurudwara - Ludhiana Punjab

On my way to an event yesterday , i was quite hungry and with me was a 'Sikh' TATA motors employee(mohan) ,who was taking me through various places in Punjab.

My lunch proved to be the best religious experience I have ever had till date.

And for the first time I had food at a Langar in Rada Saheb Gurudwara . near Ludhiana.
I could not believe when Mohan told me that they serve food here 24 X 7 with a selfless motive and the food is the best you ever tasted.

I have been to many temples and many churches and the events followed by these religious institutions.
I have heard of temples that don't allow anybody other than Hindus and of temples that serve food only to Brahmins , of Churches who have an agenda behind service and of churches which serve Christianity more than humanity on various names.

This was one such place where I realized the true form of religion ,(am not sure of other gurudwaras but by my experience , all of them have to be like this).

We went for a darshan inside and heard Gurubani being recited by the priest and then we walked out to the photo gallery which showed the atrocities on sikhs in mughal era.

We have known Sardars only for the best jokes made on them and they make.But a true Sikh is made of stuff which they underwent across years.

Before the darshan when i walked into the temple cool water passed by my feet and it was such an enlightening experience.I saw a lot of people sleeping inside the gurudwara on the marble floor which was them most effective heat buster these villagers around use for taking rest.

After the darshan we took Prashad ,which was made of pure ghee and when it touched the tongue , it send positive vibrations across the body and my body had a fresh new found energy flowing all across and all the tiredness was lost in a moment,.
We walked to the lunger in hot sun and we saw close to a two hundred people sitting there and having food served absolutely free of cost , 24 X 7 ,delicious , nutritious , served with humility and great respect to anybody and everybod walking - in .

An old Sikh gave us the plates and glasses.
A young sikh served us the Dal - the best i have had in my life.
Another elderly sikh served me with rice and roti , roti ,so delicious and nutritious that u can feel it in the smell.
then a lady came with LAssi and CHA.

by the way , the servings are unlimited and purely a community service.

People were helping us feel satisfied and go at every moment.
our plates were washed by a group of punjabi women and we were given water by a gentleman sikh who was more than 90 and could not walk so he helped us by pumping the hand bore.

HATS OFF TO SIKH RELIGION.

While on my way i saw a 24 X 7 X 365 - water filled canal and across the horizon whereever my eyes ran there was greenery.

Hope you have understood the reason for the happiness prevailing.

VAHE GURU DI JAI ....

Now i know what the sardar is made of ....

THIS WAS ONE TIME IN LIFE WHEN THE SARDAR WAS LAUGHING AT THE WHOLE WORLD ....and the world was a BIG JOKE...

Mick Pearce , An architect with an interest in ecology ,accepted an intriguing challenge from Old Mutual ,an insurance and real estate conglomerate : Build an Attractive ,functioning office building that uses no air conditioning .Oh ,ands do it in Harare,the capital of Zimbabwe.

This may ,on the face of it ,seem ridiculous.After all,it can get pretty hot in Harare.But Pearce,born in Zimbabwe,schooled in South Africa ,and trained as an architect in London,was up for the challenge.

And he achieved it by basing his architectural designs on how termites cool their tower like mounds of mud and dirt.

Whats the Connection ?

Termites must keep the internal temperature in their mounds at a constant 87 degrees in order to grow an essential fungus.Not an easy job since the temperatures on the African plains can range from over 100 degrees during the day to below 40 at the night .Still,the insects manage it by ingeniously directing breezes at the base of the mound into the cambers with the cool,wet mud and then redirecting this cooled air to the peak.By constantly building new vents and closing old ones ,they can regulate the temperature very precisely.

Pearce's interests clearly extend beyond architecture.He also has a passion for understanding the ecosystems , and suddenly those two fields intersected.

Pearce teamed up with engineer Ove Arup to bring this combination of concepts to fruition.

The office complex,called Eastgate,opened in 1996,and is the largest commercial /retail complex in Zimbabwe.It maintains a steady temperature of 73 - 77 degrees and uses less than 10 percent energy consumed by other buildings its size.In fact , Old Mutual saved $3.5 million immediately because they did not have t install air-conditioning plant.Eastgate ultimately became a reference point for architects- articles and books have been written about it ,and awards given.

Pearce had stepped into the Intersection, a place where he could combine architectural designs with the processes in nature - THE MEDICI EFFECT.

A Tribute to Guruji Swati Madam(48) and her guru Pujaniya Anand Rao Adhav (65).

Naadbrahma ! Amidst a hundred Hindustani Classical music lovers celebrated its much awaited Gurupurnima Festival with great pomp.

It was a wonderful sight to see 8yr olds/15old twins /26yr old and even 35-40 yr olds sing.

Music has no age bar.As one could see that day under the Able supervision and blessings of Pujaniya Anand Rao Adhav (Swati Madam's Guru) - > we all celebrated the Gurupurnima festival.

Seen in one of the photgraphs is me ,lokesh and Anirudh singing the Dhrupad as sung in the 1800s in mughal era....It was not easy to learn ...it took 6 months of immense practice to master it and reproduce the same.

Rang Laal ...Rup laal went the song and the audience swung to the tunes...it was an experience of a life time to learn how much people loved the song.

Gurubhyo namah........

Finally my dream of singing in a concert (although small) comes true.

The Naadbrahma Academy For Hindustani Classical Music is conducting its 20th annual Guru Poornima concert. MicroFinance has helped banks have a relook at their strategy to use the NPA (non-performing assets)--> Biggest example of customiztion to suit mass market needs.

There is enuf and ample competition for regular run-of-the-mill retail experience.
